• You'll ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in delivering key financial information for statutory and management purposes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Regional Management), oversee monthly closing processes, and coordinate reconciliations while interacting with external stakeholders like auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• You’ll specifically take care of financial controls and reporting processes, but also contribute to improving financial practices and driving awareness across the business.

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining best practice policies and procedures to ensure robust financial control
• Providing advice on financial matters while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and corporate standards
• Monitoring and reviewing balance sheets and cash forecasts for multiple entities
• Coordinating bank account management and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Supporting the Business Development Team with financial information for tenders
• Driving financial awareness and continuous improvement across the organization
• Coordinating internal and external audits and ensuring timely resolution of findings
• Preparing VAT returns and assisting in corporate income tax preparation
• Preparing management accounts and board information as required

• A CIMA or CA(SA) qualification
• Experience or understanding of financial accounting, management control, and statutory reporting
• Knowledge of tax-related matters and financial regulations
• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in IT tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• A strong ability to influence, persuade, and obtain commitment
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and listening
• Self-motivation with a drive for success, resilience, and enthusiasm
• Strong organizational, project management, and decision-making skills
• Fluent in English
