A technology company in South Africa is seeking an experienced Energy Storage After-sales Technical Engineer / Technical Director. The role involves assisting customers with after-sales issues, traveling to various sites, providing configuration solutions, and reporting to supervisors. Ideal candidates should have over 3 years of experience in energy storage systems and be proficient in AutoCAD and fluent in English.

We are hiring Energy Storage After‑Sales Technical Engineers / Technical Director.
- Assist customers in resolving after‑sales issues, often while being online for extended periods and handling issues via mobile phone or computer.
- Travel to sites for difficult problems, performing long or short business trips as required.
- Provide energy storage system configuration solutions based on customer needs and site conditions.
- Report work progress regularly to the local technical supervisor.
- Provide technical guidance and product training to distributors.
- Participate in trade shows to assist sales and introduce products.
- Create design drawings (e.g., electrical primary diagrams, photovoltaic layout diagrams) using industrial design software such as AutoCAD.
- Bachelor’s degree or above with more than 3 years of work experience in energy storage systems.
- Extensive experience working at other energy storage manufacturers preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
- High sense of responsibility and dedication.
- Fluent communication in English.
- Driver’s license for traveling to remote locations.
- Proficiency in industrial design software such as AutoCAD.
