Job Summary

Work as part of a DevOps team, leveraging specialist analysis & testing tools, frameworks, techniques, and practices to elicit, define, and translate business requirements into technical system requirements. Translate & document business requirements into user stories & technical specifications (Full Stack, Cross System), detailing integration points, business & associated risks/opportunities. Collaborate within squads during design & delivery activities, including manual application testing processes, frameworks, and outcomes.

Job Description

Analysis (including Business Case)

• Proactively build relationships and apply analytical techniques to elicit and validate business needs ahead of demand.
• Become an expert in various business processes by engaging with users and processes.
• Translate needs into user story format suitable for DevOps teams.
• Prioritize requirements backlog linked to proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Tribe Leads to build product roadmaps and visions.
• Define success measures and key outcomes, including acceptance criteria.
• Determine testing requirements and support detailed business case development.

Solution Design (within DevOps Context)

• Translate business requirements into detailed system requirements, including capabilities, interfaces, and functionalities.
• Create detailed, modular user stories for system design.
• Use modeling tools and standards like UML/BPMN for documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder understanding and approval of requirements.
• Leverage knowledge of technical landscape to define integration points.
• Work with project teams to define backlog, release, and planning implications.
• Improve system requirements mapping continuously.
• Review solution designs with the DevOps team.
• Resolve issues during development and testing phases.

Solution Delivery & Testing (manual)

• Define manual testing strategies and cases.
• Establish quality parameters and testing plans.
• Develop manual testing frameworks.
• Lead manual testing processes, execute test cases, and analyze results.
• Provide real-time feedback to development teams.
• Monitor system stability and resilience during testing and in production.
• Manage backlog planning for solution delivery.
• Support users during acceptance testing.

People

• Coach and mentor team members and analysts.
• Conduct peer reviews and problem-solving activities.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
