- Education: LLB, BCom Honours, or equivalent Risk Management Degree or higher.
- Experience: 10+ years leading Compliance functions, including significant team management experience.
- Sector Knowledge: Deep practical knowledge of regulatory landscapes relevant to Banking and/or Fintech operations.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem‑solving, and communication (written/verbal) skills. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
- Characteristics: High integrity, pragmatic, business‑minded approach, and proven ability to drive cultural change.
- Affiliation or certification with a recognized Compliance Body.
- Prior compliance experience within the Insurance sector.
- Experience specifically managing compliance for digital onboarding platforms.
- Experience implementing RegTech solutions.
