Requirements
Must‑Haves (Essential)
  • Education: LLB, BCom Honours, or equivalent Risk Management Degree or higher.
  • Experience: 10+ years leading Compliance functions, including significant team management experience.
  • Sector Knowledge: Deep practical knowledge of regulatory landscapes relevant to Banking and/or Fintech operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational, leadership, problem‑solving, and communication (written/verbal) skills. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Characteristics: High integrity, pragmatic, business‑minded approach, and proven ability to drive cultural change.
Nice‑to‑Haves (Advantageous)
  • Affiliation or certification with a recognized Compliance Body.
  • Prior compliance experience within the Insurance sector.
  • Experience specifically managing compliance for digital onboarding platforms.
  • Experience implementing RegTech solutions.
