Job summary
An International Travel Company is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant for a contract position in Roodepoort. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounts, particularly in the travel or tourism sector, and must be proficient in reconciliations and ERP systems. Qualifications

- Strong skills in reconciling bank and supplier accounts.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the Full Accounting Function for the operation of the business.
- Work closely with the Financial Manager.
- Manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Education
JHB – Roodepoort (Hybrid)
Freelance or fixed-term contract
R25k – R30k pm (based on experience)
Our Client – International Travel DMC, has an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join the JHB team ASAP and work closely with the FM, ensuring the Full Accounting Function for the operation of the business. Work hybrid both office and home – JHB/Roodepoort.
- 3-5 years Exp. in Accounts (Travel/Tourism/DMC)
- Full Accounting Function
- Matric + Diploma / Degree in Accounting/Finance (advantageous)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel
- Very good reconciling skills – Bank and Supplier accounts
- Analytical and good problem-solving skills
- Strong Accounts Payable knowledge
- Solid experience in any ERP system
- Experience in Balance Sheet Recons
- Can work independently without supervision
- Good organisational skills and manages their time well
