To provide comprehensive HR data support to the HR Team, ensuring data integrity by leveraging HR data to support decisions and projects. The individual will work with the Head of Compensation & HR Controlling to track P&B budget forecasting, including headcount management, auditing, and reporting in all related systems for all African affiliates. They must have strong governance, accurate reporting, and record-keeping skills across all HR data elements. This role collaborates with HR & Finance to ensure the integrity of the Rolling Forecast processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
HR Data Analysis
- Extract and consolidate HR data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, annual, and other reports as required.
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from sources like HRIS, payroll, and performance management systems to identify trends in employee turnover, engagement, absenteeism, productivity, and workforce demographics.
- Develop, collate, and manage dashboards and reports presenting key HR and financial insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with HR and finance leadership to identify workforce trends and inform strategic planning.
- Analyze the cost-effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs, identifying areas for optimization.
Budget Management
- Manage templates and tools for accurate payroll & benefits forecasting.
- Ensure actuals are captured onto HR Budget tools within deadlines.
- Proactively identify potential overspend and savings opportunities.
- Assist the HRCM in the Beyond Budget process for Africa affiliates, ensuring accuracy in reporting tools like Adaptive and Workday.
- Provide monthly reports to Finance by deadlines.
- Support payroll functions as backup.
Compliance & Governance
- Conduct monthly HRIS (Workday and Adaptive) audits to ensure data alignment and accuracy.
- Support HR during annual audits.
- Ensure all documents and records are properly managed and archived for audits and reference.

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

- Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of HR practices and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or Finance.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR and/or Finance.
- Experience in an FMCG environment is preferred.
- Experience with Payroll systems and HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAGE 300, Adaptive).
- Experience in HR data management, compliance, and governance.
