DevOps Engineer

Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Knowledge of cloud services (preferably Azure).
  • Understanding of Agile workflows is advantageous.
  • DevOps-related certifications are advantageous.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
  • Be an integral part of the Greenfield project core team.
  • Collaborate with software developers to design infrastructure solutions based on application requirements.
  • Build, manage, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve development and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain on-premises clusters or Cloud (Azure) infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to application deployments and infrastructure environments.
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard data and systems.
  • Stay current with DevOps trends, tools, and industry standards.
