Job summary
A local care service provider in Soweto is seeking a full-time Housekeeper/Nanny. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a home for vulnerable residents. Candidates should have experience in housekeeping, a good understanding of health and safety regulations, and be organised and adaptable. The position is permanent and requires working 7 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning positions is essential.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in a home environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the home.
- Perform general cleaning duties to ensure a tidy and safe environment.
- Assist with the care of vulnerable residents as required.

As a valued part of our dedicated team, you will maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout the home. This involves general cleaning duties, to ensure the home is clean, tidy and a safe environment for our vulnerable residents and staff.
The following skills would be of benefit to the role:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or Care home cleaning position
- A good knowledge of COSHH and health and safety in the workplace.
- You will be organised, adaptable and thorough in your approach to work.
The hours required are 7 hours per day , Monday-Friday
