- Researching and planning the most appropriate and cost‑effective route for shipment
- You will negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs.
- You will check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes
- You will liaise with and manage third parties in accordance with customer requirements
- You will arrange insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim
- You will communicate with the customer, maintain visibility and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports, statistical and unit cost analyst
- Your will complete customs formalities or sub‑contracting services
- You will provide quotations to existing clients / new clients and agents
- You will help and support local business development opportunities
- Previous experience in the freight forwarding industry
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
- A high level of energy with a "can‑do" positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
