Responsibilities

• Research and plan cost-effective routes for shipments.
• Negotiate contracts, transportation, and handling costs.
• Prepare documentation for customs and insurance requirements.
• Liaise with third parties according to customer requirements.
• Arrange insurance and assist clients in the event of a claim.
• Maintain visibility and control throughout the shipping process.
• Complete customs formalities or subcontracting services.
• Provide quotations to existing and new clients.

You will be responsible for :

• Researching and planning the most appropriate and cost‑effective route for shipment
• You will negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs.
• You will check and prepare documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packaging specifications, and compliance with overseas countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes
• You will liaise with and manage third parties in accordance with customer requirements
• You will arrange insurance and assist the client in the event of a claim
• You will communicate with the customer, maintain visibility and control through all phases of the journey, including the production of management reports, statistical and unit cost analyst
• Your will complete customs formalities or sub‑contracting services
• You will provide quotations to existing clients / new clients and agents
• You will help and support local business development opportunities

• Previous experience in the freight forwarding industry
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
