To review the institutional asset register by:

• Creating awareness about the institutional asset register to improve service delivery and improving controls
• Ensuring institutional asset register is updated and reflect accurate records
• Assisting with annual year end audit
• Supervise day to day operations in the office

• A National Diploma in Accounting or a Bachelor's degree (3-year qualification)in Accounting (Financial Information Systems, Cost and Management Accounting or Auditing)
• At least three (3) years' relevant experience in a similar position
• Ms Office (Excel in particular)

Please note: Preference will be given to Internal candidates who meet the minimum requirements.

Recommendations:

• Applied knowledge of the Integrated Tertiary System (ITS)system

• Review andupdating the fixed asset register for transfer and movement of assets
• Review and assess useful lives of assets
• Co-ordinating andconducting physical verification
• Disposals of assets
• Assist with year-end audit
• Supervision of staff for physical verification of assets
• Performing Ad hoc duties assigned by the line manager
• Planning and organizing skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal andwritten)
• Problem solving
• Time management
• Ability to work independently andas part of a team.
