Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Wet Services Design and project management.
• Candidate engineer with ECSA; professionally registered with ECSA highly advantageous.
• Solid knowledge of SANS 10252 and SANS 10400.

Responsibilities

• Perform full plumbing and drainage designs in accordance with SANS 10252 and SANS 10400.
• Generating project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.
• Attendance of site visits and meetings.

Overview

TheRole

WeareseekingaskilledandmotivatedWetServicesProjectEngineertojoinourdynamicteam.Thisroleinvolvescontributingtothedesign,coordination,anddeliveryofwetservicesengineeringsolutionsacrossvariousprojects.Whiletheguidelinesoutlinedbelowserveasaframeworkfortherole,theyarenotexhaustiveandmayevolvebasedonprojectneedsandorganizationalpriorities.

Key Responsibilities

Thekeyresponsibilitiesaretoperformafullprojectengineeringscope,whichincludes:

• PerformingfullplumbinganddrainagedesignsinaccordancewithSANS10252andSANS10400.KnowledgeofBritishcodesandapplyingrelatedtoplumbinganddrainageadvantageous.
• Performtheoreticaldesign
• Generatingprojectbudgets,generatingandmanagingvaluationcertificatesandcostreports.
• Generatingtenderdocuments,specifications,measuringandproducingBillsofQuantities(B.O.Q’s)andcompilingJBCC-basedtenderdocuments;
• Attendanceofsitevisitsandmeetingsandperforminganyactionsarisingtherefrom.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• BScorBTechinMechanicalEngineeringfromanaccreditedUniversity
• Minimumof3-5years’experienceinWetServicesDesignandprojectmanagement.MEPFBuildingservicesexperiencehighlyadvantageous
• CandidateengineerwithECSA.ProfessionallyregisteredwithECSAhighlyadvantageous
• AutodesksoftwareexperiencesuchasRevitandAutoCADSoftwareexperienceadvantageous
• Bluebeamexperienceadvantageous
• SolidknowledgeofSANS10252andSANS10400andsupplementalknowledgeoftheequivalent
• CIBSE/BS/ASPEcodeshighlyadvantageous.
• Solidanddemonstratedexperienceinprojectbudgets,valuationcertificatesandcostreports.
