A leading logistics firm in Boksburg is seeking a Stock Controller to manage stock levels and ensure accuracy in shipments. Responsibilities include comparing received items with orders, resolving discrepancies, and developing stock management strategies. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of stock management processes.
The role of Stock Controller is a newly created one with the main objective being to operate as a key link between Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse functions. This will involve monitoring stock levels, movements, locations and a strategic use of space and processes. The aim of the role is to continually reduce the number of stock losses, write offs and customer / supplier stock queries year on year.
The individual will need to be able to work independently and be self-motivated. They should also possess strong problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for detail.
