We are looking for a Site Manager with a minimum of 5 years of road construction experience or more than 3 years of road rehabilitation experience on projects of a similar nature.
Minimum Requirements and KPA’s
Diploma / BTech in civil engineering.
Registered with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer, Technologist, or Technician.
Or registered with SACPCMP as a Professional Construction Project Manager or Professional Construction Manager.
Own vehicle will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
Ability to manage project activities simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
Knowledge of the civil engineering code requirements and scheduling methods.
Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.
Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to the contracts manager.
Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.
Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
