Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Grade 12
- Must be a Qualified Artisan, Mechanic in relevant trade e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic or relevant mechanical engineering qualification
- 3-year post apprentice/learnership experience
- Machine general technical knowledge and applied skills, Applicable product knowledge
- Basic financial acumen, influencing and negotiating
- Technical report writing skill, Customer responsiveness
- Organisational awareness, Attention to detail
- computer literate (MS Office, SIS ET and SAP/CRM – warranty role
- Problem solving and failure analysis skill
- Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures and communication skills
- Willing to work overtime
