Senior Business Analyst (12-month contract with possible renewal)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with extensive banking industry experience and a proven track record in migration projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of banking operations, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for migration projects within the banking domain.
  • Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop detailed business process models, user stories, and functional specifications to support project objectives.
  • Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Perform impact analysis to assess the implications of proposed changes on existing systems, processes, and operations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on banking regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
  • Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines, and assist in the creation of project plans and deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions and ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to migration projects, and elevate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Role Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry, with a focus on migration projects.
  • Must have FTI or IIB certification.
