Overview

Monthly Basic Plus Commission (Market related). Stellenbosch: My client, a leading supplier of fresh produce to the hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join their team.

Please note: this role is strictly focused on candidates with proven experience in selling fresh consumables to hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality venues. The ideal applicant will bring not only a successful sales track record but also a deep understanding of the industry’s requirements, current trends, and customer expectations.

Purpose of the Role

The role is focused on nurturing and expanding existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business to contribute to the continued growth of the organisation. We are specifically looking for a candidate with previous experience selling fresh consumables to hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality venues, combined with strong insight into the industry’s requirements, trends and customer expectations.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in a Chef or F&B role, combined with a strong customer- and sales-centric approach.

Qualifications / Criteria
  • Proven sales track record in fresh consumables to the hotel and hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality sector dynamics and client service expectations
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident working independently and managing priorities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Afrikaans
  • Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
