Qualifications / Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing / Business
  • Strong, competitive and well-aligned Sales Management experience, with proven performance in negotiating and closing deals (handling from cradle to grave) and leading a team to success
  • FMCG industry experience, essential
  • Confident extrovert with exceptional networking and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Highly competitive, dynamic, resilient and articulate, with strong negotiating ability
Key Performance Areas
  • Lead, mentor and drive the sales team to achieve volumes, targets, margins and all key sales deliverables
  • Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities (mergers and acquisitions)
  • Manage and engage key customer accounts
  • Provide input on product branding, sizing and market alignment
  • Represent the business at expos, conferences and industry events
  • Present comprehensive sales reports and insights at Director-level meetings
  • Support supplier and customer relationship management
  • Manage Sales financials (stats, GP, budgets, forecasts)
