Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an FMCG warehouse environment, preferably with cold storage experience.
  • Strong operational coordination experience.
  • Proven experience working closely with sales and logistics teams.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations within a cold storage environment.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling for receiving, picking, dispatch, and deliveries.
  • Act as the operational link between sales, warehouse, and logistics.
  • Ensure stock is handled and stored according to FIFO and cold-chain requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control.

Job description
Role Purpose

The Operations Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day warehouse operations within an FMCG environment. This role works closely with warehouse staff, logistics, and sales to ensure effective scheduling, stock availability, and the smooth movement of goods in and out of the facility. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong organisation, planning, and follow‑through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations within a cold storage environment
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling for receiving, picking, dispatch, and deliveries
  • Act as the operational link between sales, warehouse, and logistics
  • Ensure stock is handled, stored, and dispatched according to FIFO and cold‑chain requirements
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and stock take processes
  • Ensure all operational documentation and system updates are accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate transport and delivery schedules
  • Identify and resolve operational issues proactively to prevent delays
  • Maintain housekeeping, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an FMCG warehouse environment (cold storage experience essential)
  • Strong operational coordination experience
  • Proven experience working closely with sales and logistics teams
  • Own reliable vehicle (essential)
