SUMMARY

An Engineering company, specializing in the FMCG fabrication environment, has an opportunity for a Junior Mechanical Engineer / Sales Engineer . You will be part of a team that manages key clients and projects in the FMCG industry.

POSITION INFO : Requirements

• Working directly with clients involved in the costing of projects and the initial project layout.
• Developing designs, and overseeing the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and scope.
• Delivering detailed mechanical designs and drawings for clients projects within an Engineering, Procurement, and Management (EPM) environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project timelines.
• Client interaction and support will be part of your daily duties.
• Tertiary qualification is advantageous (Mechanical) or a Trade, with at min 3 years' experience in a similar environment.
• CAD essential.
• Experience within the conveyor design and manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
• Preparing detailed 3D / 2D drawings.
• Delivering design outputs on time and in line with project schedules and milestones.
• Working independently as well as in a team, as per project requirements with the clients and teams.
• Providing design support during construction, commissioning, or site visits for verification and troubleshooting.
• Monitoring the progress of construction and ensuring that projects are built to specifications.
