The Role: Production Manager

This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing all aspects of trailer production. You will be responsible for planning, execution, team performance, quality control, and operational efficiency. The position exists to ensure on‑time delivery of high‑quality trailers while continuously improving factory processes and maintaining a disciplined, safety‑first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimum 5 years experience managing a production floor or factory operation
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production to meet deadlines and turnover targets
• Lead a team of 30+ staff, including 5 foremen, with clear performance tracking
• Ensure trailers meet specification and quality standards through rigorous checks
• Enforce safety, legal compliance, and high housekeeping standards (e.g. 5S)
• Drive process improvements to eliminate waste and boost efficiency
• Provide technical guidance across welding, fabrication, and trailer assembly
• Maintain discipline, attendance, and continuous development of team members

About You

• 5+ years of experience in a production management role
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem‑solving skills
• Proven track record managing teams and achieving production targets
• Firm approach to discipline, quality, and operational control
• Knowledge of trailer manufacturing processes beneficial
• Familiarity with welding, 12V electrics, plumbing, or cabinet fit‑out an advantage
