We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in plastics manufacturing to lead production operations. The role is responsible for managing production teams, ensuring product quality, meeting delivery deadlines, and driving efficiency across the plant.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in injection moulding machine setting and optimisation.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven experience within a plastics manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; database and reporting experience beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Code 08 drivers licence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day production operations, including machine setting, scheduling, and staff management.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

Monitor production targets such as scrap rates, absenteeism, and cycle time performance.

Lead problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Plan and coordinate raw material requirements and production scheduling.

Review non-conforming products and implement corrective actions.

Train, guide, and develop production staff.

Produce and analyse production reports and KPI data.

Act as second-in-command in the absence of the General Manager.
