Logistics Manager (Automotive Industry)

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for logistics and quality assurance? We’re looking for a Logistics Manager to lead inbound logistics operations, supplier quality, and inventory control for a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Salary: R650k per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage inbound material deliveries (Vehicles) in line with production schedules.
• Oversee rebate stock compliance and ensure audit readiness.
• Lead quality assurance for inbound materials and final line inspections.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement supplier quality improvements.
• Manage special suppliers and fitment centre logistics.
• Forecast material requirements and coordinate with procurement.
• Supervise logistics and quality teams, and generate performance dashboards.

You’ll Succeed If You Have

• Strong experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and quality control processes.
• Experience with systems like Autocart and multi-supplier platforms.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with excellent leadership skills.

Bonus Points For

• Experience in financial control (e.g., supplier invoice sign-off).
• Supporting customer service or technical teams in resolving escalations.
