SA - Gauteng, BoksburgR40 000ctc The Logistics Dispatch Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all dispatch and fleet operations to ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of goods. The role focuses on managing dispatch staff, optimizing delivery routes and resources, maintaining accurate inventory control, and ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety, and ISO standards. The incumbent will work closely with senior management, quality assurance, and departmental heads to drive operational efficiency, service excellence, and continuous improvement within the logistics and distribution environmentMinimum requirements:

• Formal qualification in logistics or supply chain management (advantageous)
• Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, supply chain management, or a related operational environment
• Experience managing and supervising staff in a dispatch or warehouse setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Effective time-management and planning skills for both staff and operations
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and optimise delivery routes and resource allocation
• Experience coordinating deliveries, pickups, and driver communication
• Ability to oversee loading processes, conduct final quality checks, and manage dispatch documentation
• Experience managing inventory, including stock control, stock rotation, ageing, and redundant stock
• Knowledge of fleet management and vehicle maintenance standards
