A community-focused organization is looking for a Junior Pilot Implementation & Store Support individual in KwaZulu-Natal to assist with the operational rollout of the Sasol surplus food pilot. The role involves conducting store activations, providing training and oversight for staff, and monitoring compliance with service standards. Candidates must be South African unemployed youth aged 18-34, possess a Matric, and ideally hold a driver's license. This position offers valuable experience and contributes to social impact initiatives.
Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.
Stipend: R5 500.00
Location: Gauteng (Johannesburg & Pretoria)
About the role: This role supports the operational roll-out of the Sasol surplus food pilot by completing store activations, training staff on app processes, providing weekly store check-ins, monitoring SLA adherence, and escalating operational issues. The job contributes to Afoody’s mission by ensuring consistent platform adoption in pilot regions and strengthening store participation.
