Role Purpose

The HR Operations Lead is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of HR policies, processes, systems, and payroll by HR teams across the group. The role provides continuous improvement of HR operations and provides training and support to HR teams across the group.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent execution of HR procedures, frameworks and policies.
  • Monitor usage and adherence to technology and processes.
  • Conduct regular operational audits, checks, and compliance reviews of HR teams.
  • Work with the HRIS specialist to ensure process documents are up to date.
  • Continuously improve HR processes to simplify, standardise and automate operational processes to make life easy for HR teams.
  • Oversee end to end payroll processing and accuracy of people and organisational HR related data.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to operationalise improvements.
  • Ensure strategic initiatives are implemented and operationalised.
  • Monitor and give input into HR operations metrics and the performance of the HR team against those metrics.
  • Support technology implementations, enhancements and process changes for operational readiness and implementation.
  • Deliver operational training for HR teams
  • Build operational capability in the group across all HR teams
  • Assist in onboarding of new HR team members and continuously upskilling of existing team members
  • Track and monitor implementation progress, adoption and execution of implementations and correct where needed
  • Build strong relationships with teams across the business, HR and country leadership teams
  • Provide daily hands on operational support to HR teams
  • End to end recruitment of specialist / key roles across the group where needed
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Human resources or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in managing the HR operational function without necessarily direct management of the HR team
