A leading retail company in Cape Town is seeking a Butchery Manager to oversee the Butchery department. The successful candidate will lead staff, ensure optimal product availability, and manage hygiene practices. Key responsibilities include delivering customer service and adhering to guidelines for food safety and merchandising. A minimum of 5 years of butchery experience and a Matric / Grade 12 qualification are required. This position promises an operational leadership role in a dynamic environment.
The Butchery Manager is responsible for the leadership and supervision of the Butchery department within a PnP Corporate store. This function includes the planning, organising, directing, motivating, controlling and providing practical operational support in the running of the Butchery in order to achieve the Butchery Division and the Pick n Pay's objectives. To assist in preparing products, meat cutting and manufacturing in accordance with the specifications, as well as assisting in all admin functions and staff supervision.
