Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Finance Department in Stellenbosch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Processing new investments in accordance with S86(4) of the Legal Practice Act
  • Issuing guarantees, managing add-ons, withdrawals, and closures
  • Capturing advocate and correspondent invoices
  • Processing business and trust EFTs
  • Monthly fee earner billing and invoicing
  • Monthly reconciliations and trust balance clean‑up
  • Responding to ad hoc queries from secretaries and directors
  • Preparing files for annual audits
  • Providing cover for colleagues during leave periods
Essential Requirements
  • Matric certificate
  • Bookkeeping Diploma
  • Full working knowledge of MS Office packages
Advantageous (but not essential)
  • CMS/Aderant experience
  • Knowledge of FICA KYC principles
  • Banking experience
  • Law firm experience
