We are seeking an automation and instrumentation engineer to join an electrical engineering firm in Nelspruit.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for industrial processes.
• Install calibrate and maintain instrumentation and automation equipment.
• Develop and program PLCs SCADA and HMI systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical electrical and process engineers.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation Engineering Automation Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automation and instrumentation in an industrial setting.
• Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens Allen-Bradley etc.) SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols.
