Job Description

The role

The Associate Manager, IT Operations is responsible for providing efficient SSC support in key areas such as Service Desk, Telephony, Network, and Security. This involves understanding the objectives and executing plans to meet the required SLAs.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading, motivating, and inspiring in-country IT SSC teams to deliver robust, fit-for-purpose, and efficient services to the Webhelp Group and UK Region.
  • Collaborating with global and regional IT teams to design and deliver strategies for all SSC support areas, adding value to the business.
  • Liaising with IT leaders across regions to ensure effective SSC support in Service Desk, Telephony, Network, and Security, aligned with objectives and SLAs.
  • Providing expertise to support continuous IT governance and effective use of IT services.
  • Aligning SSC support functions to a global standard operating model, identifying areas for efficiency and automation.
  • Ensuring all IT SSC activities contribute positively to business objectives and are effectively deployed across regions.
  • Partnering with other functions, peers, and management within the Webhelp Group to share best practices and ensure the delivery and implementation of SSC services.
What you’ll need
  • Minimum 12 years of IT experience in technical support services.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing IT teams.
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies and formulating IT operational and SSC strategic plans.
  • Proven experience in senior stakeholder management.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and engage through clear communication.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a varied workload.
  • Good understanding of data manipulation, aggregation, and presentation techniques.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to challenge and contribute.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile) and best practices.
