Job description
About the client:

Our client is a U.S.-based personal injury law firm known for its commitment to innovation, efficiency, and delivering exceptional legal support to its clients. With a forward-thinking approach to legal operations, they’re constantly exploring new ways to streamline processes, enhance client experience, and improve case outcomes. The team thrives on creativity, technology, and building systems that redefine how law firms operate.

About the role:

Our client is seeking a skilled AI Automation Specialist (Legal) with hands‑on expertise in building, training, and deploying AI‑driven automation, particularly using the Claude API. The ideal candidate will architect and implement a suite of custom bots and tools for legal intake, document generation, litigation support, lead management, and internal process automation. You must be able to conceptualise and build out complex AI tasks independently and integrate these into various platforms used by the firm.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Build voice bots to follow up with leads, qualify them, and initiate live transfers for potential clients.
  • Create bots to set up insurance claims and gather key information, integrating it directly into client files.
  • Design bots to follow up on client doctor visits, retrieve records, log updates, and flag issues that need attention.
  • Build tools to scan uploaded medical records and books, summarize key findings, identify impairments, and draft demand letters with estimated future costs.
  • Create bots (voice or email‑based) to obtain lien amounts, track mailed checks, and update settlement records.
  • Develop bots to draft legal documents such as complaints, discovery requests, motions, and trial materials (e.g., opening/closing arguments, deposition outlines).
  • Build tools to analyze internal systems, map workflows, and auto‑generate video training modules for the team onboarding and process adherence.
  • Deploy bots that continually scan the firm’s website for broken links, errors, or performance issues.
Who we’re looking for:
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or automation development.
  • Proven experience working with Claude API or similar LLM APIs.
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with prompt engineering techniques.
  • Experience building bots for process automation, voice tasks, and document generation.
  • Comfortable integrating AI tools into CRMs, databases, and internal platforms.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and workflows (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Self‑motivated, highly analytical, and proactive in identifying AI solutions.
