Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have local experience in term contracts and project tenders. Responsibilities include managing project coordination, performing feasibility studies, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role requires collaboration with design and engineering teams to enhance project efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Local experience in term contract and project tender is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed designs for construction projects using CAD software.
- Oversee construction projects from conception to completion.
- Perform technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality and performance standards.
- Identify, analyze, and manage risks associated with projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
- Manage the procurement process for materials and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize project designs.
• Develop detailed designs for construction projects using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion. Manage the coordination of staff, subcontractors, and materials to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Perform technical and feasibility studies including site investigations. Use a range of computer software for developing detailed designs and to simulate and analyze potential structural problems.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality and performance standards.
• Identify, analyze, and manage risks associated with projects.
• Ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural plans, materials, labor costs, and other relevant factors.
• Manage the procurement process by sourcing and negotiating prices for materials, subcontractors, and services required for construction projects.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs or schedules.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize project designs and specifications for cost efficiency without compromising quality or performance.
