Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified Structural Supervisor with at least four years of experience in technical coordination and site supervision. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture and possess experience working on Hospital Projects as well as both Steel and RC structure building projects. This role requires collaboration with consultants and adherence to project specifications while supervising BIM modelers and site installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum four years of site supervision experience in construction.
• Experience in Hospital Projects and working with both Steel and RC structures.

Responsibilities

• Create schedules for shop drawing preparation and material procurement.
• Supervise BIM modeling and ensure compliance with drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors on construction details.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Workout schedule for shop drawing preparation/approval and material approval/procurement based on master programme and continuously monitor the status
• Supervise BIM modeller to produce Structural & Architectural shop drawings and obtain Consultant’s approval
• Review, coordinate and liaise effectively with Consultants and Subcontractors to develop the Construction details for Structural & Architectural works and the interface to other work trades
• Ensure strict compliance to construction drawings, project specifications, client's needs and regulations, authorities' code and standards
• Verify site installation according to approved shop drawings and finalize as-built drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Architecture
• Professional certificate recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore Institute of Architects and/or equivalent overseas institution
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in technical coordination and/or site supervision in various building construction projects.
• Experience in at least one Hospital Project
• Experience in both Steel Structure and RC structure Building projects
• Experience in coordination and/or supervision of Structural and Architectural works
