Job description
Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for construction projects using CAD software and other engineering tools.

• Oversee construction projects from conception to completion. Manage the coordination of staff, subcontractors, and materials to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Perform technical and feasibility studies including site investigations. Use a range of computer software for developing detailed designs and to simulate and analyze potential structural problems.

• Ensure materials and workmanship meet quality and performance standards.

• Identify, analyze, and manage risks associated with projects.

• Ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural plans, materials, labor costs, and other relevant factors.

• Manage the procurement process by sourcing and negotiating prices for materials, subcontractors, and services required for construction projects.

• Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs or schedules.

• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize project designs and specifications for cost efficiency without compromising quality or performance.
