We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chinese Language Teacher / Tutor to join our team at Zhou's Academic Studio in the Paya Lebar East Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Chinese language instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their language skills and achieve their learning goals.

What you'll be doing

Developing and delivering engaging, interactive Chinese language lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student

Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve their language proficiency

Collaborating with the wider education team to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across all classes

Maintaining detailed records of student progress and attendance

Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

Fluency in both written and spoken Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in English

A bachelor's degree in Chinese language, education, or a related field

At least 2 years of experience teaching Chinese language to students of various ages and skill levels

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to adapt lesson plans as needed

Strong understanding of MOE Chinese curriculum and exam requirements

A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their language learning goals

In the past years, almost 90% of students achieve AL1- AL3 in PSLE Chinese, and more than 80% of students score B3 to A1 in O-level Chinese.
