The Centre Manager plays a crucial role in the overall operation and success of the enrichment centre. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the centre's activities, staff management, student engagement, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Staff Management
- Supervise and lead a team of teachers, customer service executives, and course consultants.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure a high-performing team.
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during operational hours.
Student Engagement and Success
- Maintain a high standard of student satisfaction and success.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide guidance on academic and personal development.
- Handle student inquiries and concerns, ensuring a positive learning experience.
Operational Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre, including scheduling of classes, events, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards in Singapore.
- Manage inventory and supplies efficiently.
Marketing and Business Development
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement strategies to attract new students and retain existing ones.
- Promote the centre's programmes through local outreach and community engagement.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the centre's budget, including revenue and expense forecasting.
- Monitor financial performance, and take appropriate actions to achieve profitability targets.
Parent and Stakeholder Relations
- Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication.
- Address parent concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
Curriculum and Programme Enhancement
- Continuously evaluate and improve the curriculum and programs to meet educational standards and market demands.
- Collaborate with teachers and curriculum developers to ensure teaching methods align with learning objectives.
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of student enrolment, attendance, and financial transactions.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on centre performance and KPIs.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in educational management, ideally within an enrichment or educational centre.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of local education regulations and trends.
- Financial acumen and budget management experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
