Position: Secondary MYP Mathematics Teacher (IB Curriculum– Chinese Track)

Department: Secondary

Report to: Secondary Principal and Vice Principal

Core Responbilities:

Instruction and curriculum: Teach mathematics lessons based on IB Curriculum in Mandarin and help students understand mathematical concepts and their connection to real-world problems.

Student assessment and progress: Plan, prepare, and grade homework, quizzes, and exams. Monitor student progress and provide individualized instruction to meet diverse needs.

Classroom management: Maintain a positive, orderly, and interactive classroom environment while managing discipline.

Collaboration: Work with other teachers and academic Leads to develop curriculum and activities, and communicate with group advisors regarding student learning.

Professional development: Stay updated on teaching standards, contribute to the school's professional atmosphere, and promote excellence and perseverance in students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: A bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field is typically required.
