Structural Engineer
Job summary
A leading company in aluminium design seeks a structural design engineer in Singapore. You will design heavy structures using aluminium alloy, liaise with clients, and supervise project execution. The role requires a degree in civil or marine engineering and technical competency in design and analysis. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for those lacking experience.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in structural design and analysis required.
- Familiarity with international aluminium and offshore structure design codes is advantageous.

Responsibilities
- Design heavy structures made of aluminium alloy.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and third parties on technical issues.
- Supervise design drawings and material take-off.

- Cooperate with project team on the project planning and execution
- Supervise/check the design drawings and material take-off
- Perform structural analysis and prepare structural analysis report
- Degree in civil/marine engineering / naval
- Strong technically and competent in structural design and analysis
- Being familiar with international aluminium and/or offshore structure design codes and standards to be an advantage
- Knowledge in Staadpro/Tekla to be an advantage.
- Experience in aluminium design is not required as training will be provided
- Good written and spoken English
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
