Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an Inhouse IT Engineer to manage IT infrastructure in the construction industry. This role involves maintaining Windows servers, enhancing system automation through PowerShell, and ensuring network stability. Candidates should possess a degree in Information Technology and have 1-3 years of experience in similar roles. Strong skills in security monitoring and server management are essential. A competitive salary ranges from $3,000 to $4,000, plus a variable bonus.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the building and construction industry as Inhouse IT Engineer.
- Experience with Windows server administration and network management.
- Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor Windows servers to achieve 99.9% uptime.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Azure AD.
- Drive patch automation and vulnerability remediation.
- Develop PowerShell scripts for automation.
- Monitor security tools and respond to alerts.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Prepare documentation for governance.

- Maintain, configure, and monitor Windows servers (on-prem & cloud) to achieve 99.9% uptime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and Azure AD
- Drive patch automation and reporting to maintain high compliance levels
- Conduct server hardening and vulnerability remediation for internal/external audits
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployments and reporting
- Optimize system operations to reduce manual workload
- Monitor security tools (M365, Symantec) and respond to alerts
- Support incident resolution (L3), coordinate with vendors for escalations
- Support network upgrades, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and manage endpoints
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure operational continuity
- Prepare SOPs, change logs, and incident resolution steps for governance and continuity
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects (server refresh, M365 migration, network upgrades)
- Ensure minimal downtime during migrations and upgrades
