Position: Leader (Group Finance) / Assistant Finance Manager | Industry/Organization Type: Chemical Manufacturing | Location: Jurong East | Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:15 AM - 5:00 PM / 9:15 AM - 6:00 PM) | Salary: Basic Salary up to $6,500 + AWS + Bonus + Flexible Benefits | Duration: Permanent

• Manage financial oversight and directly prepare quarterly, semi-annual, and yearly financial reports.
• Address tax-related inquiries, including corporate income, property, and withholding taxes, and understand tax agreement applications in local and international contexts.
• Communicate with tax authorities in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia regarding relevant tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with FATCA, OFAC, and global tax reporting requirements (CBCR).
• Update and draft internal control protocols.
• Process and approve banking transactions, respond to bank inquiries and negotiate contracts.
• Carry out financial consolidation tasks for joint ventures, associates, and related parties.
• Oversee the management of a large volume of fixed assets and deferred taxes.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and assist with audit-related documentation.
• Handle obligations related to the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Singapore statistical reporting (SingStat).
• Manage both internal and external audits.
• Oversee the processing and approval of daily financial transactions.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), and Income Tax Acts (ITA).

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or a similar qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the finance sector.
• Experience with SAP is beneficial.
• Able to travel overseas when required.
• Current CA/CPA membership or equivalent would be an added advantage.
