The Finance Manager will be the right-hand person to the Head of Finance and will be accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company; including the development of a financial and operational strategy and budgets, monitoring of metrics tied to that strategy, reporting accurate financial results, and finance business partnering of various internal stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Planning
- Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
- Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction
Business Partnering and Financial Planning and Analysis
- Assists in Annual Budgets and Financial Forecasts
- Assists in on-going financial monitoring and analysis
- Assists in fund raising activities and applications of applicable government grants
- Work alongside internal stakeholders from various departments to provide financial information, tools, analysis and insight to make more informed decisions and driving business strategy.
Financial Reporting
- Ensure adherence with Financial Policies & Procedures, timely close of financial records
- Supervise Quarterly GST reporting
- Able to liaise independently with Banker, Auditors, Tax agents
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity of the systems across the region, perform data audit regularly
- Assist in developing and implementing processes to ensure that all financial management requirements are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree qualification in Finance / Accounting with will be added advantages.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with banking knowledge.
- Able to manage and coach a lean but effective team of direct reports Strongin financial analysis.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements.
