Senior Manager/Manager, Projects - 3 Years Contract
Job summary
A major entertainment resort company in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee the planning and execution of construction works for the RWS 2.0 Expansion. The successful candidate will manage daily site progress, coordinate with internal teams and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and budgetary standards. Applicants should hold a degree in Civil and Structural, Architectural or Building and have 8-10 years of experience in large-scale projects. Skills in communication and project management are essential.
Qualifications
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience working on large-scale development projects.
- Knowledge of public/private sector procedures and procurement requirements is advantageous.
- Experience in managing mega-scale projects is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Support project team in planning and managing construction works for RWS 2.0 Expansion.
- Coordinate progress of work on site with various business units and consultants.
- Carry out pre-qualification and tender evaluation processes for project contractors.
- Ensure projects comply with legal requirements by liaising with regulatory agencies.
- Oversee planning and implementation of assigned new build developments.

Education
We are seeking a Senior Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction works for the RWS 2.0 Expansion. The role is responsible in managing daily site progress, coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and contractors, overseeing new-build projects, supporting the tender processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and budget requirements.
- Support Project team in the development and management of construction works for RWS 2.0 Expansion.
- Coordinate with cross functional business units, project managers, consultants and monitor progress of work on site on a daily basis.
- Carry out pre-qualification and tender evaluation process to appoint suitable consultants, contractors or vendors for the projects.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies when required to ensure that projects comply with legal requirements.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of assigned new built development, and/or responsible section in a team and/or one or multiple enhancement project(s) of the Resort.
- Furnish Project Management support and technical support to Business Units on their proposed facilities upgrades/enhancement.
- To work with contract and costing team on contractual claims/ obligations/ variation orders.
- Work closely with Employer’s Representative to ensure project completion within the set budget, schedule and conformance with Contract Documents.
Manage and coordinate construction works while factoring in the following:
- Cost efficiency and timely delivery of projects.
- Quality delivery and completion of projects.
- Safety and environmental standards are adhered to.
- To minimize operational disruption/loss of income during the execution of projects.
- Degree in Civil and Structural, Architectural or Building
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience working on large-scale development projects
- Meticulous, highly motivated and independent individual with excellent team spirit, communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of public/private sector procedures, including different roles of respective authorities, agencies and procurement requirements, will be advantageous
- Experience in managing mega-scale project(s), will be advantageous
- Resourceful and able to multi-task
