Job Responsibilities
1. Safety Inspection and Monitoring:
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of the warehouse, promptly identify and correct safety hazards, and ensure all warehouse operations comply with safety standards.
2. Safety Training and Education:
  • Organize or assist in conducting safety training for warehouse employees to improve their safety awareness and operational skills, ensuring that all staff understand and follow safety regulations.
3. Emergency Response Planning:
  • Develop and improve warehouse emergency plans (e.g., fire, accidents), and conduct regular drills to enhance the ability to respond to unexpected events.
4. Fire Safety Equipment Management:
  • Regularly inspect and maintain fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and hydrants to ensure they are functional, and be familiar with their proper usage.
5. Hazardous Materials Management:
  • Manage hazardous materials within the warehouse, including storage, handling, and usage, ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations to prevent accidents.
6. Incident Investigation and Handling:
  • Participate in investigating warehouse incidents, analyze root causes, propose improvement measures, and assist in post-incident follow-up.
7. Safety Records and Reporting:
  • Keep detailed records of daily safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports, and report the warehouse’s safety status to superiors.
8. Safety Equipment Management:
  • Handle procurement, distribution, and management of safety protective equipment (e.g., helmets, gloves) to ensure employees use them correctly.
9. Supervision and Rectification:
  • Supervise the safe execution of warehouse operations, correct any violations, and follow up on the implementation of rectification measures.
10. Visitor Management:
  • Handle visitor entry registration and guidance, maintain order within the company, and ensure the safety of personnel, materials, and property.
11. Other Duties:
  • Complete any other tasks assigned by the management.
Requirements:
  • High school or vocational diploma and above; candidates with a background in safety engineering or related fields are preferred.
  • More than 1 year of experience in warehouse safety management is preferred.
  • Familiar with national and local safety regulations and knowledgeable about various warehouse safety management requirements.
  • Possess relevant Singapore safety-related certifications, such as safety officer qualification, first-aid certificates, fire safety management certificates, or other relevant safety training certificates.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, responsible and detail-oriented, strong sense of discipline, and capable of handling emergency situations.
