Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Define architectural patterns, functional modules, and integration strategies for Avaloq implementations.
- Document client architectures using enterprise architecture tools.
- Ensure solutions balance cost efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Integration & Transformation
- Lead integration of Avaloq with front-office, middle-office, and back-office systems.
- Manage third-party product integrations (e.g., trading platforms, CRM, regulatory reporting tools).
- Support large-scale transformation programs, including migration, modernization, and outsourcing services.
Client Engagement & Consulting
- Work closely with clients to capture requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide consulting on Avaloq solution architecture topics.
- Support cost estimations, proposals, and offering activities.
Governance & Leadership
- Promote architectural principles across projects and teams.
- Guide developers and consultants in adhering to Avaloq best practices.
- Act as subject matter expert in Avaloq implementations and digital banking strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Avaloq Core Banking Suite, parameterization, and Avaloq Message Interface (AMI).
- Strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, APIs, and integration frameworks.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Nexus, XL Deploy) and enterprise architecture tools.
Domain Knowledge
- Solid understanding of private banking, wealth management, and regulatory frameworks (MIFID, FATCA, EMIR, CRS).
- Familiarity with trading, settlement, and back-office operations.
Professional Background
- Typically 15+ years in IT/financial technology, with 10+ years in Avaloq implementations.
- Proven track record in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, and technical leadership roles.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to mediate between business and technical teams, ensuring consensus and clarity.
