Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a candidate to manage customer inquiries, process purchase orders, and arrange billing. Responsibilities include maintaining supplier communications, participation in corporate activities, and supporting sales teams. Strong organizational skills required for filing and auditing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and prepare quotations.
- Process Customer Purchase Orders and manage delivery schedules.
- Issue Purchase Orders to suppliers and monitor shipping.
- Arrange delivery and issue billing to customers.
- Manage consignment operations and maintain document filing.
- Handle customer inquiries, including requests for quotation and order status.
- Prepare & submit quotations to customers, including seeking pricing approval.
- Process Customer Purchase Orders (receiving PO, enter order into the ERP system, checking availability, and acknowledging to the customer with a delivery schedule).
- Issue Purchase Order to suppliers (enter PO, monitor supplier shipping schedule, adjust & expedite, receipt goods in ERP system).
- Arrange delivery with the warehouse, and issue billing to customer.
- Manage consignment operations with certain customers, including planning of orders to suppliers, arrange replenishment, & issue billing.
- Maintain proper filing of documents/records.
- Support the sales team on queries/requirements from customers.
- Handle quarterly/yearly internal & external audit checks.
- Perform month-end closing tasks.
- Participate in daily work improvement & cost reduction activities.
- Participate in departmental & corporate activities.
