Job summary
A prominent construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction activities, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. This role includes supervising teams and preparing progress reports, with opportunities for professional advancement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in construction.
- Ability to understand structural drawings and specifications.
- Experience supervising teams and managing site construction.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction activities and progress independently.
- Supervise workers and subcontractors on site.
- Prepare daily progress reports and work schedules.
Skills
Education
- Manage construction activities and progress independently
- Able to understand structural drawing, specifications and requirements
- Supervise structural/architectural works, co-ordinate with client's representatives
- Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub contractor to perform on site work
- Resolve design site problems encountered during the construction period
- Ensure the quality of work
- Responsible for implementing the work plan of the Project Manager
- Prepare daily progress report and work schedule
- Oversee quality control and safety and health matters on site
- Attend project meetings
- Other ad-hoc tasks within the Manager’s capability
- Min Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Min 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Good communication skill and able to interact with all level of staff
- Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company
