About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Civil) to join our team. As a Project Manager (Civil), you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in achieving the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing project plans, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress
2. Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and subcontractors
3. Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing appropriate contingency plans
4. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
5. Regularly communicating project status to stakeholders, including clients and senior management
6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency
7. Providing mentorship and guidance to junior project team members

What we're looking for

1. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a project management role, preferably in the construction industry
2. Proven track record of successfully managing civil construction projects, from planning to completion
3. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
5. Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
6. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, and a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an advantage
