A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee project execution. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Construction Implementation, particularly with industrial ACMV systems. Responsibilities include managing construction teams, ensuring quality and safety, and controlling project budgets. Excellent project control and communication skills are essential for this role.
Work closely with our Project Management team to ensure success of the project.
Manage direct work teams with good experience in MEP system construction in particular piping and equipment installation
Based on project requirement, plan, organize and manage our in-house construction team to execute the works on schedule, with good quality and safety.
Monitor & control the usage of material, manpower and machinery used on site.
Devise and propose construction methodologies that will improve constructability, quality and safety.
Provide support to colleagues to ensure that they can complete the assigned work
Provide on-the-job training to colleagues
Manage and control manpower budget
At least 10 years of Construction Implementation experience using direct workforce
Deep experience in industrial ACMV systems
Experience in other utility systems is an advantage
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Email
Excellent project control and people management skills.
