Join our Team as a Civil Engineer!

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer ready to take on diverse projects and deliver innovative solutions? ABL Group, we’re seeking a Civil Engineer to support all business lines and civil engineering discipline required activities across projects.

The role will also include MWS operations, projects document review, attendances, bid developments etc.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare as required and assist with technical inputs on projects and working on interfaces.
• Prepare as required and assist with review, analysis, and interpretation of technical data.
• Assist with report writing and writing Technical Notes.
• Undertake analytical work, create and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
• Attend regular internal meetings and external/third-party meetings as required.
• Ensure all deliverables are conducted in full compliance with approved instructions, procedures and policies.
• Assist with preparation of proposals/ quotations for bids and tender inputs.
• Project management of awarded project in and outside Singapore’s office.
• Attendance onshore and offshore for MWS project awarded to ABL.
• Engage in communication with client and contractors to ensure MWS duties are fulfilled.
• Participate in design reviews, audits and civil engineering-related reviews. Evaluate and prepares concept selection reports and basis for design.
• Engage with mentors to gain insights and guidance on professional growth and project execution.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Always comply with the company HSEQ policies, manuals, procedures, work systems and regulations at ABL premises, projects and client sites.
• And other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for?

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring your expertise in civil engineering principles, along with proficiency in MS office and strong numerical accuracy. In addition, you are self-motivated, a proactive team player and possess excellent communication and report writing skills. In addition, you should have:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with a Master’s level as advantageous
• Good working knowledge of engineering principles and practices
• Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software
• Ability to select and apply standard guides, methods, and techniques.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and engaging.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong team player with a proactive approach.
• Well-organized, insightful, and a self-starter.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• High level of numerical accuracy and ability to prioritize work.
